Discogs Dice

Discogs collection viewer

Your whole vinyl library, in one view.

Enter a Discogs username, yours or anyone else's. Browse their whole collection with current lowest marketplace prices, then roll the dice and let it pick a record to play.

Faster loading and private collections
Discogs limits anonymous visitors to about 25 requests a minute, so pricing a large collection takes a while. A personal access token raises that to 60 and also lets you open your own collection if it is set to private. The token stays in this browser and is only sent to Discogs. A collection has to be public on Discogs for anyone else to view it.

How rarity is scored

Five signals, one score out of 100

Every record earns points from five things Discogs knows about it. Its score is the share of the available points it earns, and the score sets its tag. Rarity appears after Load details, and Load prices adds the price signal.

Common 0–24Uncommon 25–44Rare 45–64Very rare 65–84Ultra rare 85+ ★

  1. 40
OwnersThe fewer Discogs members have it in their collection, the more points. One owner earns nearly all 40, around 100,000 owners earn none.
  2. 20
DemandHow many people want it for every person who owns it. It counts in full once at least 50 people want it.
  3. 15
For saleNone listed earns 15, one earns 12, two or three earn 9, up to nine earn 5, up to 29 earn 2. Thirty or more earn nothing.
  4. 15
PressingTest pressing +8, misprint +6, limited +5, numbered +5, promo +4, coloured vinyl +4, picture disc +3, unofficial +3, up to 15 in all.
  5. 10
PriceFrom the lowest current listing, in your chosen currency: 400 or more earns 10, 150 earns 8, 60 earns 6, 25 earns 4, 10 earns 2.

A signal Discogs can't supply doesn't count against a record: the score is out of the points that could be checked. It's an estimate from community numbers, not a count of copies pressed.
